It has been awhile since I have posted. We are just living in this cold town they call Roosevelt. We went a week and it was negative all week long. Today it got up to like 12 it was nice. The kids are doing good in school and are having fun. So just a short update of the holidays. We went to Colorado for thanksgiving and also for christmas. We got to Landon's parents on christmas morning and opened gifts and just had a lazy family day. It was so nice to just hang out with family. We had a birthday party for Jadynn on new years eve with some really good friends. We are now back into the swing of life. Kids go to school, Landon goes to work and I stay home. Well that was my short post. Tell next time!!!!!

In the last week..... We got a new house, moved, girls got baptised and my kids are now in
Colorado for 2 weeks with their grandparents. That is a lot and more to come. We just finished moving and we all love our new house. We have a lot more space and a real yard. Landon and I are going to have time to have to our self's and go on a date for the first time in years. Well that is about it for us.

Yesterday Landon told me that subawy was having a grand opening and the Jazz bear was going to be there. So I put the kids in the car and went to vernal. The kids were so excited and they even got posters signed by the bear. That was what we did on our Saturday.

So I had to go to SLC on Tuesday and we did not leave tell about 6pm from down town SLC. Landon and I wanted to go get the kids so bad. So we went to have dinner and went on our way. It is about 12 hr drive to go get the kids. I was driving and driving and driving. It was a really long time. We stopped a few time just to walk around for a few min. We picked up the kids and turned right around. We were going to stop in Vegas but we just wanted to get home. I took a nap for about hour and then started to drive again. We took the kids to the mall and did some other stuff in Phonix and then back home we went. Right befor we got to the price turn off I just could not drive anymore. I stopped at a rest stop and took another nap. So now that I have told you a long story we left American Fork Ut at 8 pm on monday and went to Tucson Az and then Back to Roosevelt Ut and we made it home at 4 am wednesday and drove over 1500 miles. Never again will I do it in that sort of time. On another note I am glad that the kids are here and that Landon has a few days before he has to go to work. Now my summer really begins. I am so excited.

So Landon and I have been waiting for Stormy(one of our snakes) to lay her eggs. Well days and days have gone by and nothing has happened. Last night we got home late and she still had no eggs so we went to bed. Then Landon got up this morning and there they were. 6 little eggs under Stormy. We really wanted to record her having the eggs so we were a little upset. So now we have 6 more little snake babies coming this summer. We are really excited and so are the kids.

4 weeks is a long time.

Marcus has been gone almost 3 weeks and it is killing me. I do not like it when he is gone and I wish he was home right now. Well I am really excited that I will get to see him in almost a week and can't wait. Then my summer will really start when Marcus, Mariah, and Jadynn get here. I just can't wait tell that day.

Snake eggs!!!

So if you did not know by now we have snakes. We also are breading them. So about 3 weeks ago one of our female snakes laid eggs. I went to check on her and there she was with 4 eggs under neath her. So when Landon came home he took her off her eggs and then we put the eggs in the incubator. So now we should have babies on the 17th of July. We are really excited. So here are some pictures of the eggs.

Marcus Special Olympics!

I know it has been a long time and I am sorry so now here is the newest thing that has happened. Marcus went to the Special Olympics last week with his school and we were told that he was going to run. ( if you know marcus he does not like to run.) So we took a huge support group with us to help him and cheer him on. His race came and we all stud up and Landon and I thought he would just give up after 10 feet or so but they said go and he went running. We cheered and he got first place. It was a really good race. Then the next race came and he did the same thing another gold medal. So the last running race was the team one and he did really well but gave the stick to the wrong person so his time came in 3rd. So all and all my kid can run and had a really good time doing it. I only have 2 pictures because I can not get my video camera to load the movies on my computer so when I get that working I will put the videos up.

So these past few weeks I have just not felt like my self. I have been sick and tired all the time. I still don't know what is wrong but I am felling a little better. I went down to my parents house on Tuesday and came home Friday night. I went all alone to have some time alone that I have not had in a long time. I really enjoyed my self and had a lot of fun with my family. Marcus is doing really well at school and loves to ride the bus every day. So on another note, it is really cold here and it is never warm. I don't think that the sun knows were Roosevelt UT is so it just never comes around. I can not wait for spring so that I can see the sun again and Marcus and I can go to the park to get out of the house on the weekends. I really do miss seeing my family and friends but I have made some new friend up here. So all in all life is going well besides that it is cold. Hope everyone is doing well. Love Tasha

It has been a long time from my last blog. I am really sorry. I have been really sick these past few weeks and really have not done much of anything. 25 Christmas Questions

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags?
I would say Wrapping paper. I love to wrap gifts it is my favorite thing to do.

2. Real tree or Artificial?
I like them both. This year we have a fake tree but last year we had a real one. I really like the smell of the real trees so I hope next year we can have a real one again.

3. When do you put up the tree?
We put up the tree when we have time. This year it was early in December but that does not always happen.

4. When do you take the tree down?
I like to take down the tree before new years. I think that the new year should no start with a tree in your living room.

5. Do you like eggnog?
I love eggnog. My dad and I would drink in all year if we could. I also like to mix the eggnog with some milk that makes it much better.

6. Favorite gift received as a child?
I think the best gift I have every had as a child was a pager. Yes a pager!!! My parents put it in the tree and my dad keep sending pages to it. It was a really fun Christmas.

7. Hardest person to buy for?
I think it is my hubby. He is really hard. He does not want anything and will not give me any hints. This year he was easy because I bought him a snake that he wanted. I just am glad that he wanted something I could get him.

8. Easiest person to buy for?

My Dad!! He is easy because he always wants another book.

9. Do you have a nativity scene?
No I do not.

10. Mail or email Christmas cards?
I do both. I like to send mail and then also do email to people that I forget to send normal mail to.

11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received?
It was a heart shaped wall light. I dont know why that person bought it for me but I still used it.

12. Favorite Christmas Movie?
I would have to say that it is Christmas on 34th street. I always have loved watching it.

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas?
I start when I think about it. Most of the time it is last min. I like to be in a hurry and go to the store when everyone is there shopping.

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present?
Yes I have.

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas?
I like to eat the pecan rolls.

16. Favorite for Christmas dinner?
Every Christmas eve we have always had hamburgers, fries and chocolate shakes. I think I will have that forever. It is really fun.

17. Favorite Christmas song?
It is the Christmas shoes.

18. Travel at Christmas or stay home?
I have done both. I like to travel but this year I am staying home.

19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer?
NO!!!!

20. Angel on the tree top or a star?
An Angel. We bought a new one this year and I love it.

21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning?
We open one on Christmas Eve and then wake the kids up in the middle of the night and do the rest. The one we open Christmas Eve is pjs.
22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year?
I would have to say getting all the gifts out to family and friend in the mail. The post office is always crazy.

23. Favorite ornament theme or color?
We like home made ones and also to do themes. This year we went with a Raiders theme(The football team). It was fun for all of us.

24. What do you want for Christmas this year?
I would like to just be with my family and friends. I would like my kids to like all of there gifts.

Landon's work Christmas Party

So on Dec the 6th we had a work Christmas party to go to. It was really fun and I can't wait for next year. His company gave out some really nice gifts. So anyway here are some pictures of the friends we went with to the party. The first one is Landon and I , then there is Tony and Teresa, and then Mellisa and Kenny.

We finally received snow up here. I keep saying that we would get snow before Halloween and we didn't. Then I said that I would be happy if it would not snow until after Thanksgiving and there was no snow. So the other day Marcus asked me if there was going to be snow for Christmas, I told him that I didn't know and we would have to wait and see. So then out of no where it started to snow. (YIPIE) On Monday the kids came home from school and about 2 hrs later we had snow. So this is what they decided to do. It was really cold outside and for a while the snow was coming down really hard. We told the kids that they could not go and play out side because it was still snowing really hard. So Megan( then one in the blue coat) asked one more time and Tony and Teresa(our neighbors) told them they could so we let Marcus go with them. It was really fun to watch them play in the snow and then they made a snow man. It was really cute. I am just glad that they were able to have some much fun and now maybe we will have snow for Christmas. ( I really hope so.)

It is Christmas Time!!!

Now that we are in December it is time for Christmas. I remember the fun we had when we were younger going to grandma Hinckley's and making gingerbread houses. One year my dad made a pig farm from the gingerbread. (My dad is sometimes a little crazy.) So anyway I was trying to think of anything that I could do with my family that would be fun for just the 3 of us that are here. It will be the first Christmas that we have not gone to my parents house for Christmas day. I thought maybe the gingerbread house thing and also decorating the Christmas tree together. If anyone has any ideas for me fell free to tell me. I really don't know what we are going to do but I do know that it will be fun and a Christmas that I will remember. I hope everyone is enjoying the Christmas season. Have a good week, I will post again. Looking forward to your comments and ideas for me.
(I do know that we will not have this Christmas tree at our house. I think this is very interesting tree. )

Thanksgiving!!!! 2008

We went to Landon's family's up in northern Utah. It was a lot of fun and we can not wait to go up there again. The last large Thanksgiving I can remember was a long time ago. So we had like 60 or so people that came. I also got to meet most of Landon's family that live up that way. I now have another family and I love them all very much. Here are some pictures that I took that day. I would like to thank everyone for letting me take funny pictures of them. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.

GAS GAS GAS ! ! !

So I know that everyone in America cares how much gas is. Well all drive and we all need it. Well yesterday gas here in Roosevelt UT is $3.13 and with your Maverik card it is only $3.11. So we are getting there. I would like it to go down to like $2.00 would be nice. So that is all I have to say for now about GAS.

Snow in the Vally but not here!

So this past weekend I keep hearing that we where going to get snow and I was waiting for it. Well what really happened was that Utah Vally got snow and we did not. So I have decided that I am not going to believe anything I hear anymore and just wait for the snow to come. So now I am living in very cold weather and no snow. It would of been nice to see some snow but I am glad that I didn't have to deal with it. Now I am just going to wait for the snow to come this way. I know by the end of winter that I am going to be sick of snow and have plenty of my own pictures to prove it. I hope everyone in the Vally enjoyed there early snow storm.

IT IS GETTING COLD!!!!

So today I got up with Landon like I always do and it was cold in the house. So I turned on the heater and we on to making Landon lunch. (Just so you know Landon goes to work at 2 am and it is early) So when he was about to leave I kissed him and he opened the door to leave and let me tell you it was really really really cold. So he went to work and I went back to bed. I then got up to get Marcus off to school at 7 am and it was still dark outside. So he got dressed and did everything that he needed to do to get ready and I went to but him on the bus and it was still really really cold out side. ( It was 8:15 went the bus left.) So I have decided that I spent to much time in Las Vegas and that I am not going to like this winter because I have heard that it can get 50 below in the winter up here. So I think that it might be time to get some under armer and get ready for the long haul.

I'm not looking forward to all the cold and the mess of it all. I know that it will be fun to have a winter with snow for the kids and the fun that I know as a family we can have. It will also be nice to have snow for Christmas again.

Shooting this weekend!!!

On Sunday we all went out into the mountains. It was probably the last weekend that Landon and Tony will have off before it gets to cold to go out. So we decided that we were going to go shooting with all the kids and have some fun.

Starting on the left it is Megan, Taylor, Kendall, and Shaun. We stopped by and saw Mellisa's dad and the kids played on the 4 wheelers.

This is Marcus and Tyler on the other one. Tyler broke his arm a few weeks ago but that does not stop him from doing anything.

This is Megan and Kendall. They look like they are twins. They are the same age and when Kendall is at her mom's house they are together all the time.

Went to the SNAKE show!!!

On Sunday our family and are friend and there girls went to the snake show in SLC. It was the best time we have had in a long time. Marcus has been asking for a snake for the last few months. ( I got 2 snakes about 2 months ago and that is why he has wanted one of his own.) So when we went to the show our friends bought a snake and I was holding another one and Marcus told his dad and I that he wanted it. So are great friend Tony and Teresa bought us and Marcus the snake. So this is our new addition to are snake collection.

Also Marcus held the biggest snake I have ever seen. ( The girl in the picture was holding the snake all day. The snake weighs 90 lbs. that is the same as Marcus.

So that is what we did on Sunday and it was great. We all had a lot of fun!

I have never done this before but thought it might be a good idea. My family and I just moved to Utah again and I can't wait for winter. I have lived in Nevada for almost 6 years and I love Utah and am glad that I am back. Landon is working up here and loves his new job and I stay home with Marcus. Marcus is in school right now and is doing really well. So anyway I thought I would start this blogging thing and I will put updates on when I have some.
